Emmanouil Athanasopoulos has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at Bratnet. In 2009, they worked as a Mechatronics Developer and Automotive Engineer at Aristotle Racing Team (ART) where they designed and fabricated main HUD and peripheral electronic systems. In 2010, they worked as an Infantry Soldier at the Hellenic Army. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) as a Research Scientist, where they managed research resources, published papers, and conducted research in powertrains and tribology. In 2016, they became the Lead Mechatronics & Embedded Technologies Designer and Co-Founder at KINVENT Biomécanique. In 2018, they became the Head of Research & Development at Feaqus.
Emmanouil Athanasopoulos obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Tribology & Lubrication from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2017. Emmanouil was a Visiting Researcher in Experimental Tribology & Lubrication Modelling at Imperial College London from 2016. Emmanouil also obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). In addition, they have obtained certifications from edX, SKF Group, and EOS - Electro Optical Systems. These include UT.RTBN.12.01x: Realtime Bluetooth Networks from edX in 2016, WI130 Thermography Basics, WE170 Seals for Rotating Motion, WE104 Bearing damage classification, and GRL001 Lubrication basics from SKF Group in 2016, and EOS DMLS from EOS - Electro Optical Systems in 2015.
