Zhuo Chen began their career in 2007 as a Programmer at H3C Technologies Co., Ltd, where they designed and realized in C the network data capture module used in routers and switches, and completed the unit test using Python. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer at Bank of Communications Limited, where they built a front end processor using JAVA, Sybase database and Web service, and developed a mobile application by JSP and Tomcat. In 2015, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas, where they used answer set programming to simulate a doctor\u2019s mind to diagnose and manage heart failure and wrote a paper about it which was accepted by 32nd International Conference on Logic Programming. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer at Interoperate.Biz, Inc., where they maintained a MFC-based desktop application for digitalizing scanned braille sheets and helped their manager redefine core requirements and implemented them in C++. In 2018, they became a Research Associate at The University of Texas at Dallas. In 2020, they began working as a Backend Developer at Kinzoo, where they are building a new private messenger that turns screen time into family time.
Zhuo Chen received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Software Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology between 2006 and 2010. Zhuo then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2013 and 2017.
