Octavio Camarena

Octavio Camarena has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Octavio is currently the Director General of KIO IT Services at KIO since 2022. Prior to this, they held roles as a Consejero at Angel Ventures and ArcaContinental Ventures starting in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Octavio also co-founded and served as the CEO of MásNegocio, a KIO Networks company, from 2000 until 2022. Additionally, they have served as a Patrono at Pumas | Club Universidad Nacional from 2016 to 2019. Octavio's earlier work experience includes positions as the Dir Gral Adjunto at Mexico Analytica from 1996 to 2000, and as an Asociado at Consultores Decisiones Gubernamentales from 1994 to 1996. Octavio was also involved with Harvard Kennedy School as part of the Dean's Council from 2018 to 2021.

Octavio Camarena received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Lawrence University in 1990. Later, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued a Master Public Policy (MPP) degree in Políticas Públicas from Harvard Kennedy School.
