Toshiaki Kawabata

Toshiaki Kawabata is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in information technology and security within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Executive Officer and Chief Information and Security Officer at KIOXIA Group since July 2020, Toshiaki previously held the position of Chief Information and Security Officer at the same company earlier in 2020. Toshiaki has also served as IT General Manager at KIOXIA Group and has held various managerial roles at Toshiba, including IT Manager at Toshiba Memory Iwate Corporation, Factory IT Senior Manager at Toshiba Memory Corporation, and several IT leadership positions at Toshiba from 1991 to 2016, specializing in semiconductor-related IT management. Toshiaki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Chemistry from Kyoto University, completed in 1991.
