Juan A. Rivera Jr

Juan A. Rivera Jr is currently serving as a Multilingual Learners Case Manager at KIPP Chicago since September 2022, where responsibilities include teaching English as a Second Language to small groups and providing bilingual support in academic content. Prior to this role, Juan was an English Language Program Teacher at Instituto del Progreso Latino from October 2021 to August 2022 and worked as a Paraprofessional, promoting a positive educational environment and assisting with individual education plans. Additionally, experience as a Vocational Support Specialist at the Association House of Chicago from September 2020 to October 2021 involved supporting clients with goal development and social skills enhancement. Juan is pursuing a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching at North Park University from August 2023 to May 2025, following a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology, Law, and Justice from the University of Illinois Chicago (2014-2018).
