Erika Gallegos

Assistant School Leader at KIPP Columbus

Erika Gallegos has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Assistant School Leader and Dean of Instruction at KIPP Columbus since August 2016, where responsibilities include leading and instructing both 4th and 1st grade classrooms. Previously, Erika was a founding member of the ESL Summer Camp at KIPP Houston Public Schools, focusing on curriculum planning and student engagement, and also held the position of 1st Grade Lead Teacher. Erika began a professional journey with Teach For America as a Corps Member at KIPP SHINE Prep. Erika holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Ashland University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from The Ohio State University.
