Rebecca Hammer

Rebecca Hammer has extensive experience in educational leadership and teaching, currently serving as a School Leader at KIPP Columbus since January 2018, where previous roles included Assistant Principal and 4th/5th Grade Reading Teacher. Prior to this, Rebecca worked at KIPP Charlotte as an ELA Teacher for 7th/8th graders and served as a Grade Team Lead. Rebecca's early career included positions as an Energy Litigation Legal Practice Assistant and Litigation Document Clerk at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC, and as a Corps Member with Teach For America, teaching high school science. Rebecca earned a degree in International Relations with a focus on Public Health from Boston University in 2012.
