Alpachino Hogue (He/Him)

Dr. Chino joined KIPP DC November 4, 2024 as the High School Transition and Recruitment Manager. As a member of the student recruitment team, in this role, he is responsible for advising middle school students and families on the transition to high school, cultivating their interest in attending a KIPP DC high school, and managing relationships through the enrollment process. Dr. Chino is a native of St. Louis, MO and obtained his Doctorate in Education Leadership and Master's in Education Policy and Management both from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri (Mizzou). Prior to joining KIPP DC, Dr. Chino spent his career working and partnering in college admissions, non-profit organizations and K-12 school systems. New to DC, he looks forward to spending time exploring the District through food, culture, and leisurely walks.
