Debra Wexler has extensive experience in strategic communications and marketing. Debra has held various roles in both the non-profit and education sectors. Most recently, they worked as the Senior Director of Media & External Relations at the KIPP Foundation, where they developed and oversaw a national strategy to promote and protect the organization's brand. Prior to that, they founded and served as the President & CEO of Revere Strategies, a strategic communications firm. Debra has also held positions as a Communications Director at Carnegie Corporation of New York, Assistant Vice President of Communications & Marketing at Hunter College, and Chief Communications Officer at The Human Project. Debra has also worked at New Leaders, Harvard University, TNTP, NYC Department of Education, and Make the Road New York. Throughout their career, Debra has demonstrated their ability to develop and implement strategic communications plans, manage media relations, and effectively communicate complex issues to diverse audiences.
Debra Wexler has an MA and M.Phil. in American Studies from New York University. Debra also has a BA in History and English from Oberlin College.
