Angella Martinez

Angella Martinez has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at KIPP SoCal Public Schools since February 2012, where previous roles include CEO in Residence and Chief Academic Officer. Angella serves as a Board Member for Culture Shock Los Angeles and held the position of Principal at KIPP Los Angeles College Preparatory School from May 2008 to February 2012. Earlier roles include Recruitment Manager at the KIPP Foundation and Teacher at Compton Unified School District. Angella holds a B.A. and M.Ed. in Political Science and Urban Education from UCLA, as well as an M.A. in Elementary Education and Teaching from Loyola Marymount University.
