Laporsha Smith

LaPorsha Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2012, they worked as an On-campus Recruiter for Liberty University, where they organized community workshops, conducted visits, and arranged tours for prospective students and parents. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Tutor for the S.T.I.T.C.H After School Program, assisting students with homework and providing additional learning materials. In 2014, they joined Liberty University as a National Recruiter, breaking recruitment records and mentoring potential students in selecting career and academic options. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Production Manager for HFM INC, scouting and booking events for a music festival. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Performance Tour Specialist for WorldStrides, cultivating consumer relationships and managing sales revenue. In 2018, they became the Director of Admissions and Marketing at PACIFIC LUTHERAN JR./ SR. HIGH SCHOOL, overseeing admissions, recruitment strategies, and maintaining the school's website. Currently, since 2020, they are working at KIPP SoCal Public Schools, initially as an After School Program Site Coordinator and now as an Expanded Learning Program Manager.

LaPorsha Smith obtained their Bachelor's degree in Music from Liberty University. LaPorsha attended the university from 2008 to 2012.
