Riikka Myllys

Riikka Myllys is an experienced professional in program management and academic research, currently serving as a Program Manager at Kirkko Helsingissä since February 2022 and as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki since January 2016, focusing on the meanings of handicrafts, including spiritual and mental aspects. Myllys has held key roles such as Human Resources Specialist at Lasten ja nuorten keskus ry and Project Manager at Kirkkohallitus, where responsibilities included managing projects for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, as well as leading the organization of the Church Days. Additional experience includes pastoral positions at Espoon tuomiokirkkoseurakunta and Leppävaaran seurakunta, as well as a role coordinating curriculum reforms at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Theology. Myllys holds a Master's degree in Theology from the University of Helsinki, completed in 2004.
