Thomas Taylor has extensive experience in operations and management roles in the food industry. Thomas currently serves as the Director of Operations at KITCHENTOWN, where they oversee the daily operations of multiple facilities and provides consultancy services to startups and other companies in the CPG space. Prior to this, Thomas was the Director of Good Food Manufacturing and Production at the Oakland Unified School District, responsible for launching and managing a central kitchen facility. Thomas has also held the position of Director of Operations at the San Francisco Soup Co, where they managed production facilities and inventory for the company's restaurants. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as a District Manager and Restaurant Manager at the same company, as well as a Kitchen Manager at Frazier Farms.
Thomas Taylor obtained a Bachelor's degree from CSUSM College of Business between 2006 and 2009. In addition, they have also acquired various certifications including "Better Process Control - Canned, Acidified and Low Acid Foods" from the University of Tennessee in 2023, "Foodborne Pathogens and Product Sampling" from Amtek in 2019, and several others.
