Marcelo Perez has diverse work experience in the field of technology and game development. Marcelo is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Game Programmer at Kitfox Games since July 2019. Prior to this, Marcelo worked as a Game Programmer at the same company from July 2015 to July 2019.

Before Kitfox Games, Marcelo worked at DTI Software / GEE Global Media Entertainment as a Game Framework Developer from February 2012 to June 2015. Marcelo'sresponsibilities included research and development of new features for the company's framework, adaptation of the framework to different hardware and operating systems, and creation of technical documentation.

Marcelo also has experience working at Spring Wireless as an iOS Programmer and Analyst from October 2010 to November 2011. Marcelo'swork involved the development of the main product for iOS using SCRUM methodology, along with planning, design, implementation, documentation, and unit tests. Marcelo also worked as a Java and C# Programmer and Analyst from February 2009 to September 2010, where they developed projects for Windows Mobile and JavaME, conducted code inspection, provided documentation, and supported clients in problem-solving.

Earlier in their career, Marcelo served as a Software Engineer at Motorola Mobile Devices from October 2007 to January 2009. Marcelo also had an internship at the same company as a Software Engineer Intern from January 2007 to October 2007. Prior to that, they completed an internship as a Software Engineer Intern at Gemalto in 2006.

Marcelo's earliest work experience was as an undergraduate student at LBI - Instituto de Computação - UNICAMP, where they worked on undergraduate scientific projects and participated in two bacterial Genome Projects from December 2002 to July 2005.

Marcelo Perez completed their education in Computer Engineering with a degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Marcelo attended this institution from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they spent a year as an exchange student in the Informatics Department at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, from 2005 to 2006. Marcelo's field of study throughout their education was Computer Engineering.
