Nico O'Higgins

Nico O'Higgins has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience spanning over 17 years. Nico currently holds the position of Controller at Kitman Labs since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Marketo, an Adobe Company, where they served as a Functional Controller - FP&A - Senior Financial Analyst from August 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for sales finance and played a key role in overseeing account executives and support staff.

Before their time at Marketo, O'Higgins worked as a Financial Consultant for Kouchin Holdings from July 2017 to July 2018. Nico was responsible for developing and implementing a financial launch plan for a new men's luxury grooming range, as well as consolidating multiple entities and transitioning the accounting system to the cloud.

From August 2013 to June 2017, O'Higgins served as the Financial Controller at Revinate, where they managed daily financial operations, ensured regulatory compliance, and facilitated cross-functional collaboration to support the global customer base.

Prior to Revinate, O'Higgins held the position of Head of Finance at Smiles Dental Ireland from January 2008 to April 2013. Nico played a vital role in the company's expansion, leading financial operations and conducting due diligence on potential acquisitions and mergers.

O'Higgins also has experience as an Owner/Finance Director at SoBo Cafe. Nico established the coffee shop/café business and managed all financial day-to-day operations until divesting their interest in March 2013.

O'Higgins began their career as a graduate trainee chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Dublin. Nico worked their way up through various roles, including Assistant Manager 2, gaining exposure to audit in a range of financial areas and preparing financial statements.
