Jamie McLean

Jamie McLean has over 18 years of work experience in various roles within the banking and software development industry. They currently serve as a Lead Engineer at Kiwibank since 2022. Prior to this, Jamie worked at ASB Bank for 11 years as an Integration Specialist. They also held positions at Intergen as a Software Developer / BizTalk Specialist, Datacom as a Senior .NET / BizTalk Developer, Telnet Services Limited as a .NET Developer - Contract, and PBT Group as a Developer Consultant. Jamie has expertise in financial systems, multi-tier environments, and the design and development of custom software applications. They have also mentored junior developers and up-skilled peers in new technologies.

Jamie McLean completed a Diploma in Business Analysis at the Faculty Training Institute in 2007. Prior to that, in 2004, Jamie obtained a BTech in Information Technology Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. From 2001 to 2003, Jamie pursued and successfully achieved a National Diploma in Information Technology from the same institution. In addition to these educational achievements, Jamie has recently obtained certifications such as "Running Kubernetes on AWS (EKS)" from LinkedIn in April 2022 and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in March 2022.
