Rasika Samarakoon

Rasika Samarakoon is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a robust background in software development. Currently employed at Kiwibank since January 2023, Rasika has previously held senior engineering positions at Visa from 2018 to February 2023, and at SoftTech New Zealand Ltd. from October 2014 to June 2018. Prior roles include Senior Software Developer at CodeConnexion (Pvt) Ltd from December 2008 to May 2014, Software Engineer Specialist at Synapsys (DFCC Group IT) from September 2007 to November 2008, and Software Engineer at Paragon Technology Systems from July 2006 to August 2007. Rasika holds both a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya, completed between 2002 and 2006.
