Andrés Ávila Ramírez

Andrés Ávila Ramírez has a diverse range of work experience. Andrés currently serves as the Head of Corporate Development at Kiwibot, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Andrés worked at Kiwibot as a Senior Financial Analyst and a member of the CEO team from September 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they provided strategic advice to the CEO and team leaders across functional boundaries, utilizing robust financial modeling and analysis.

Before joining Kiwibot, Andrés worked at Banco Davivienda as a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist from October 2019 to June 2021. Andrés was responsible for handling all equity transactions of the Financial Group and its 64 companies, including stock purchase, sell and issuance, business capitalization, mergers, demergers, acquisitions, and incorporation of new investment companies. Andrés also led a team of three M&A analysts and oversaw the issuance of over $970M in senior and subordinated debt with Multilateral Agencies.

From July 2017 to September 2018, Andrés worked at Banco Santander as a Structured Finance Analyst in the Corporate Investment Banking division. Andrés supported the origination, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of numerous Export, Trade & Supply Chain Finance deals and Corporate Loans. Andrés also created and analyzed financial models and interacted with high-profile clients and various levels of management.

Andrés gained experience at Universidad de Los Andes, where they served as a ConsultAndes Advisory Board Member & Teaching Assistant from January 2015 to June 2016. In this role, they led and supervised consulting projects for large local companies, provided frameworks and finance-related advice, and conducted lectures and workshops.

Additionally, Andrés worked briefly as a Financial Consultant for RUNT, the Colombian National Single Transit Registry, in February and March 2016. Andrés conducted valuations, comparative, financial, and pro forma analyses in a time-sensitive manner.

Before that, they were a Financial Consultant at GRUPO SIERRA NEVADA S.A.S. from June 2015 to February 2016, where they participated in the financial and strategic planning of the company's expansion. Andrés constructed and evaluated financial statements, conducted analysis to determine potential risks and working capital requirements, and developed cash flow forecasts and expansion plans.

Furthermore, Andrés held roles as a Junior Consultant at Satel Importadores in 2015 and President of the Global Village Committee and IGCDP Team Leader at AIESEC en Colombia in 2012 and 2013, respectively. In these roles, they organized projects and events, managed finances, and led teams.

Furthermore, in 2019, they obtained the "Real Estate Sales Associate" certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
