Federico Moreno

Federico Moreno currently serves as the Sports Director at KJHK 90.7 FM, where responsibilities include expanding the sports broadcasting schedule and increasing staff participation. Under Federico's leadership, the sports staff grew from 40 to 60 members, with a notable increase in female involvement. Additionally, Federico holds the role of Spanish Play by Play Announcer at Tico Productions LLC, covering significant sports events such as the Jayhawks’ 2022 National Championship Run. As a Sports Writer for The University Daily Kansan, Federico covers Kansas Athletics and highlights alumni achievements in professional leagues. Previous experience includes roles in customer service at Essential Hospitality and Sagra Pizza Bar. Federico is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies at The University of Kansas, with prior education at Monsignor Edward Pace High School and Immaculata-La Salle High School.
