Simon Lacroix

Simon Lacroix has had a varied career in software engineering, beginning in 2013 as a Trainee at AREXO Consulting. In the same year, they joined Rights'Up as a Software Engineer, where they built a Ruby on Rails application, migrated part of the monolith to an event sourcing/CQRS implementation, and rethought the architecture following Domain Driven Design principles. In 2016, they joined test IO as a Research and Development Manager, where they migrated applications from bare-metal servers to a Kubernetes cluster running on Google Cloud, developed a Zapier app and integrations to help integrate exotic customer systems, and implemented message-based communication for communication between internal services using Kafka. In 2019, they joined Hypofriend as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2021 they joined Klara as a Senior Software Engineer.

Simon Lacroix obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège between 2010 and 2013.
