Romain Guillemaud

Romain Guillemaud has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Romain is currently working at Klarna as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and a Senior Data Scientist at Klarna. Romain also worked as a Data Scientist at Klarna from February 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining Klarna, Romain worked as a Quantitative Researcher at BNP Paribas Asset Management from April 2015 to January 2018. Romain also gained experience as an Analyst at Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites - FRR from July 2014 to December 2014.

Romain Guillemaud obtained a Master 104 - Research Graduate Program in Quantitative Finance from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2014. In 2011 and 2012, they participated in an exchange program at Hanken School of Economics, focusing on Finance. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Master in Finance at EM Strasbourg Business School. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended Lycée Vauvenargues, where they completed their PSI degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Guillemaud obtained the certification for "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera in November 2019. Romain also acquired the certification for "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in February 2019.
