Chad Venables

Chad Venables has a wide range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chad started their career as a Software Developer at Electronic Network News in 1996, where they developed custom display solutions and managed graphic LED displays. In 1997, they co-founded Duvet Systems and played a key role in developing a realtime communications backbone for Metrorail South Africa, which was used for logistical train information. Chad continued to work at Duvet Systems until 1999.

In 1999, Chad founded and became the Director of Greystone Technologies. Initially, the company focused on developing communications-based systems for clients, managing both the software and hardware in-house. Later, Greystone Technologies shifted its focus to developing its own projects. Chad served as the Founder, Director, and Chief Technology Officer at Greystone Technologies until 2016.

In 2017, Chad took on new roles at two different companies. At KLEAR Technologies, they became the Chief Technology Officer. Similarly, at SecurPair, they co-founded the company. Chad continues to work in these positions, utilizing their expertise and experience in technology and leadership.

Chad Venables attended Wynberg Boys High School from 1988 to 1992, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field during that time. Later, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town.
