Cord Gruenewald

Cord Gruenewald has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Cord currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Kleinanzeigen since March 2023. Cord also serves as the CPO for Kleinanzeigen at Adevinta, starting in the same month. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Advisor/Consultant at Gruenewald Management Consulting from January 2023 to March 2023.

Cord has a significant experience at XING, where they held several leadership positions. Cord was the Managing Director from October 2019 to December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Professional Social Network Products from December 2017 to September 2019. Cord also worked as the Director of Product XING News from March 2014 to November 2017 and as the Senior Manager of Corporate Development from May 2012 to February 2014.

Before joining XING, Cord pursued their PhD at Technical University Hamburg Harburg, Germany, from January 2010 to June 2013. Cord also co-founded GeoCab, a company they worked with from June 2011 to April 2012.

Cord began their career as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where they worked from November 2007 to December 2009. Cord also gained early experience as a Case Writer at SAP America from June 2005 to August 2005.

Cord Gruenewald attended INSEAD in 2019, where they completed the Product Management Executive Program. Prior to that, they studied at the Hamburg University of Technology from 2001 to 2007, earning a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur in the field of Engineering. In 2004 to 2005, Cord also obtained a MoT Certificate in Management of Technology from the University of California, Berkeley.
