Mustufa Batterywala, GPM, has a strong educational background in both computer science and mathematics. Mustufa obtained their MCA degree in Computers from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, Mustufa completed their higher secondary education at St. Paul Higher Secondary from 1986 to 1998, focusing on subjects such as Maths, English, Physics, and Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Mustufa has also obtained several certifications in the field of cloud computing. In August 2020, they became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. Prior to that, in July 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Security Specialist certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Mustufa had already obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification in December 2018.
