André Gonçalves

André Gonçalves has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing industry. André started their career at Honda Automóveis do Brasil as a Production Supervisor, where they played a key role in implementing the engine assembly department in a new plant. André then moved on to Renault, where they supervised production and focused on process and quality improvements. At Sabó Sistemas Automotivos, they served as a Lean Manufacturing Coordinator, restructuring the division and implementing social inclusion programs.

Gonçalves then joined BASF S.A as a Plant Manager, where they were responsible for various industrial areas and successfully led a site transfer project. André later worked at Henkel as a Site Manager and Head of Manufacturing Engineering LAS, overseeing adhesive operations and regional manufacturing engineering. During their tenure, they also managed the MFO project for manufacturing footprint optimization in Brazil.

André'smost recent positions include Statutory Director and Industrial Director at Klöckner Pentaplast, where they contributed to the company's strategic direction, and as a Conselheiro Administrativo at Instituto Brasileiro do PVC. André is currently serving as a Conselheiro Consultivo at Cubo Tecnologia.

André Gonçalves possesses a wealth of experience in manufacturing operations, leadership, project management, and process optimization.

André Gonçalves has a diverse education history. André graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1992 to 1997. André later pursued an Executive Administration MBA from Ibmec between 2004 and 2006. Furthermore, André completed a Master's degree in Chemical Process Engineering with a focus on the development of processes in the chemical industry from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia from 2009 to 2013. In 2010, they further honed their leadership skills by obtaining a Leader Coach certification from ICI - Integrated Coaching Institute. Currently, André is attending Stanford University Graduate School of Business, studying Managing Teams for Innovation and Success, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
