Harmen Thys Nieuwenhuis has extensive experience in talent development, learning and development, and leadership development. Harmen Thys has held senior positions at companies such as Klook, Agoda, Lexia Consulting, and McKinsey & Company. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for various aspects of HR and people development, including talent management, learning solutions, leadership program design, facilitation, and execution, functional capability building, succession planning, performance management, and talent acquisition. Harmen Thys has also led client service teams, designed and facilitated leadership development programs, and provided expert advice on organizational topics. Nieuwenhuis has a track record of driving employee development, improving retention rates, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Harmen Thys Nieuwenhuis completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Groningen, from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Revius Lyceum from 1988 to 1994. Harmen Thys later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, from 2001 to 2002.
