Sean Ghayeni

Seyed Ghayeni serves as the Head of Technology at KMX Technologies since May 2019, focusing on supply chain management and the design and development of membrane distillation modules. Prior to this role, Seyed held the position of Senior Project Manager for Desalination at KMX Technologies from May 2015 to May 2019, managing a commercial vacuum membrane distillation project. Seyed's experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer - Water Desalination at Hatch from January 2011 to November 2012, where responsibilities involved conceptual design and process development for mining-related global water management. Additionally, Seyed worked as a Senior Project Manager at SNC-Lavalin from January 2007 to January 2011, focusing on desalination and biological treatment projects. Earlier in 2006-2007, Seyed was a Membrane Technology Specialist at ERE Inc., contributing to the design and fabrication of systems for oil removal and wastewater treatment. Seyed Ghayeni holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from UNSW and has completed postdoctoral programs in Membrane Technology at The Johns Hopkins University and Polytechnique Montréal.
