Charl Landvreugd currently serves as the Head of Research & Curatorial Practice at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and is a member of the Supervisory Board at Het Nationale Theater. Landvreugd's involvement with KNAW includes roles as a Board Member and Member of the Akademie van Kunsten. As the Head of Artistic Research at AKV|St.Joost, Landvreugd has contributed to the advancement of Post-Contemporary Practices until August 2023. Additional experience encompasses artistic research at Studio Landvreugd, as well as various supervisory and committee positions within multiple institutions, including Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst and Stadsarchief. Academically, Landvreugd holds a Ph.D. from the Royal College of Art, a Master's degree from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree from Goldsmiths, University of London. Previous roles also include research fellowships and curatorial positions at notable art institutions.
