Alec Laing

Alec Laing has over 10 years of experience in the field of internal auditing. Alec is currently the Head Of Internal Audit at Kneip since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Franklin Templeton Investments from August 2013 to September 2018. Before that, they served as an Internal Auditor at Santander UK Plc from June 2011 to August 2013. Alec started their career as an Associate at Ernst & Young from December 2009 to June 2011, and earlier as an Associate at Deloitte from September 2008 to November 2009.

Alec Laing received a BA (Hons) degree in Politics (European Studies) from Durham University in 2007. Alec also studied Politikwissenschaft at the University of Konstanz in 2005-2006. Prior to that, they attended Kimbolton School. Alec has obtained additional certifications, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors in December 2022 and ACCA in February 2012.
