Rod Smith Jr.

Rod Smith Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rod began their career as a District Sales Rep at Mediacom Communications in 2007 and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they joined Tyco Integrated Security as a Commercial Account Manager and stayed with the company until 2016. During their time at Tyco Integrated Security, they gained experience in managing commercial accounts. In 2014, they joined New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Des Moines as an Account Executive. In this role, they helped companies across various industries with their training needs and provided tailored learning solutions. In 2019, Rod joined KNIA/KRLS Radio as an Advertising Account Executive.

Rod Smith Jr. attended Knoxville High School from 1994 to 1997 but did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study during this time. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a Microsoft Sales Specialist - Learning Partner from Microsoft.
