Michael P Edwards

Michael P Edwards has over a decade of experience in the professional world. Michael P started their career in 2009 as Co-founder & Deal Organizer at Regroup Bahamas Co. Ltd. In 2012, they began working as a Lecturer at College of The Bahamas. From 2016 to 2019, they were an Assistant Professor at University of The Bahamas. During this time, they also served as Co-Designer for the country pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. In 2014, they became a Partner at Exnihilo Art Center. In 2019, they joined Chrysalis Bahamas as an Advisory Board Member and in 2021 they joined SAFE Cybersecurity as an Advisory Board Member. Currently, they are Community Manager, Caribbean Venture Club (Building) at Knightley and a Miami Chapter 2020 Cohort at Founder Institute. Additionally, they are part of the Coolwater Capital Explore program, which offers contrasting perspectives and a holistic view of the VC ecosystem.

Michael P Edwards has a diverse educational background. Michael P completed a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, an MSc from Chalmers University of Technology in Applied Information, Art + Technology, and a Certificate from Université Bordeaux Montaigne (ex - Bordeaux 3). Michael P also completed two courses from the Fulcrum Venture Accelerator in Fundraising Mastery and Fundraising for Innovative Startups, and is currently enrolled in the THNK School of Creative Leadership, studying Executive Leadership, Venture Design, and Creativity.
