Pietro Pierpaoli has held several roles in the robotics engineering field. In 2008, they were a Stagiaire at Whirlpool Corporation. In 2012, they were a Research Scholar at the University of Miami Robotics and Intelligent Systems Engineering Laboratory. In 2013, they were a Field Engineer at Rana Diving. In 2014, they began their PhD Student role at the University of Miami. In 2015, they were a Graduate Research Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2016, they were a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Washington College of Engineering. In 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2021, they became a Robotics Engineer at Quiet Machines. Pietro is currently a Robotics Engineer at Knightscope.
Pietro Pierpaoli has an extensive educational background. Pietro began their studies in 2005 at the Politecnico di Milano, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Aerospace Engineering in 2009. Pietro then continued their studies at the same institution, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aeronautical Structures in 2013. In 2014, they moved to the United States to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, which they completed in 2017. Pietro is currently not enrolled in any other educational institution.
