Mary McCann

Mary McCann is an accomplished radio professional with extensive experience in music direction and hosting. Currently serving as World Music Director at AOL Internet Radio since January 2008, Mary curates a diverse range of music genres including African, Celtic, and Americana. Additionally, Mary has been the host of the Saturday Jazz Matinee on KPLU and TuneInToNature.org since 2008 and 2009 respectively. Previous roles include hosting the Saturday Night Party at KBSG and serving as Music Director at radioIO and ioWorld Media, where Mary was instrumental in programming eclectic and world music stations. Mary began their career in broadcasting at Sundance Broadcasting-KZON, where versatile roles spanned from morning host to event MC for the Special Olympics. Mary holds a BA in Art and Mass Communications from Western Illinois University.
