Charles Bourain

Charles Bourain has extensive work experience in the software development field. Charles worked for Knock as a Software Developer starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they spent a significant amount of time at Boeing, where they held multiple roles. From December 2016 to November 2019, they served as a Software Developer and was responsible for launching and developing the internal DataStrain web application. Charles managed and developed all phases of the application and integrated various siloed databases. Additionally, from August 2013 to December 2016, Charles worked as a Structural Analysis Engineer at Boeing. Charles prepared and refactored legacy applications to fit within the new infrastructure and introduced test suites for future development. Charles also served as a Liaison Engineer from January 2011 to August 2013, supporting the production of Boeing 787-8/-9 aircraft and ensuring structural and functional soundness of repairs for damage caused during the manufacturing process.

Charles Bourain has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Charles then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, completing it from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Material Review Board in January 2011, although the institution that provided this certification is unknown. Furthermore, Charles Bourain took individual classes in Computer Science at both Stanford University in 2017 and Harvard University in 2018.
