Nicholas (Nik) Reed

Nicholas (Nik) Reed's work experience starts with their role as SVP Product, R&D and Design at Knowable since December 2019. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and COO of Ravel Law, a legal research and analytics company that was eventually acquired by LexisNexis. Nicholas (Nik) has been working in Product and Strategy at LexisNexis since June 2017, where they integrate products, machine learning algorithms, and culture to drive innovation in legal tech. Reed also worked as a Summer Associate at Gunderson Dettmer in 2011, performing transactional legal work for the Venture Capital industry. In 2008, they were a Deputy Field Organizer for Obama for America, managing campaign offices, volunteer activities, and special event coordination. Reed's earliest work experience was as a Management Consultant in Corporate/M&A Strategy at Accenture from 2005 to 2008, covering various industries. Nicholas (Nik) also worked briefly as a Research Analyst at Merill Lynch in 2000.

Nicholas (Nik) Reed has pursued a comprehensive education in various fields. Nicholas (Nik) obtained a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University, majoring in Political Economy with a focus on Middle Eastern Studies. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Management from HEC Paris, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Most recently, they attended Stanford Law School, completing a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specific focus on Venture, Corporate, and International Law.
