Myra Ingmanson

Myra Ingmanson has a diverse work experience, starting in 1995 as an International Programs Director and English Language Professor at Alliant International University. Myra then became the Director of Cultural Immersion Programs, Latin America at the same university in 2007. In 2005, they worked as an Educational Travel Consultant and Writer at Backroad Knowmads, LLC, where they developed travel programs in Mexico and India. Myra also worked in academia, as an ESLA teacher at Whatcom Community College from 2015 and as an Assistant Director and Lecturer, English Language Center at Shantou University from 2009 to 2015. More recently, they have freelanced as a Proofreader and Editor, specializing in academic dissertations and essays, at Proofed - Proofreading and Editing Services since 2020. Additionally, they work as a tutor at Knowadays and Proofreading Academy since December of 2020.

Myra Ingmanson earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Western Washington University where they studied from 1976 to 1978. In 1993, they enrolled in Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico's Master of Arts program and completed a degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor in 1994.
