Luis Padilla

Luis Padilla is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the President and CEO of Knowix since December 2021, Padilla previously held various positions at Cortland Company from May 2007 to December 2021, including President, VP and General Manager, and Global Engineering and Technology Leader. Additionally, Padilla was the President of Cortland Biomedical and the Cordage Institute. Prior experience includes roles at Teijin Aramid as NA Sales Manager and Boehme Filatex as Technical Manager for Mexico and Central America. Padilla began academic pursuits at North Carolina State University, earning a BS in Textile Chemistry in 1997 after participating in research from 1995 to 1997.
