Janae Pritchett

Janae Pritchett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mathematics curriculum development and education. Currently a Manager in Mathematics Curriculum Development at Great Minds since November 2018, Pritchett also holds a senior role as an Alumna/Resource Teacher with the Knowles Teacher Initiative since 2008. As the Owner/Guide of Colorado Backcountry Guides since 2006, Pritchett leads outdoor adventures in Crested Butte, CO. Previous positions include Mathematics Curriculum Writer at Brilliant.org and Project Manager/Math Content Provider at SmartNoter Inc., where responsibilities involved developing educational content for various audiences. Pritchett began a career in education as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Crested Butte Community School from 2004 to 2014. Pritchett holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Geology and Environmental Studies from Yale University.
