Shamik Patel

Shamik has spent his career as an investor in and advisor to businesses in the Services and Consumer sectors. Prior to joining Knox Lane, Shamik was a Partner with TPG Growth, where he served as Services sector lead and played a pivotal role in sourcing, executing and driving numerous transformation-oriented investments. In addition to leading Services for TPG Growth, he was a key contributor to a number of Consumer investments, and was also a founding member of TPG’s firm-wide Diversity & Inclusion Council. Prior to TPG, Shamik was with Veritas Capital in New York. Prior to Veritas, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group of Credit Suisse in New York.

Shamik received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and holds a BBA with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
