John Turner

John Turner currently serves as the Director of Business Attraction at the Knoxville Chamber, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, John worked as a Real Estate Redevelopment Analyst for the Knoxville's Community Development Corporation, where significant contributions included complex financial underwriting for projects exceeding $100 million, collaboration with the City of Knoxville on tax-related projects, and securing funding for affordable housing initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as an Economic Development Coordinator at the Oak Ridge Chamber Of Commerce, managing the development of an economic website, and previously interning at the Knoxville Chamber. John has also held positions in online fulfillment at Lowe's Companies, Inc., and as a sports writer for The Standard Banner. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Economics from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
