Frederike Zwenk has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2008, they worked as an Analyst Market Intelligence at KPN until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Policy Researcher at the Research and Documentation Centre, Ministry of Security and Justice. In 2012, they became a Senior Policy Advisor at the Impact - Expertise Centre Psychosocial Care Critical Incidents, where they worked until 2014. Frederike then worked as a Research Consultant at the Research and Documentation Centre, Ministry of Security and Justice from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Currently, they are the Head of Research at the KNVB since September 2017.
Frederike Zwenk has a diverse educational background. Frederike obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Football Management from the University of Lausanne in 2022. In 2010, they completed an Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Earlier, in 2007, they obtained a Ph.D. (dr.) in Social Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). In 2003, they pursued a course in Marketing A from NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing. Prior to that, they graduated from Leiden University in 2002 with a drs. degree in Social and Organisational Psychology. Frederike Zwenk completed their secondary education at Willem de Zwijger College Bussum, where they pursued VWO from 1991 to 1997.
