Ian Fieldhouse

Ian has spent +20 years working in the mineral exploration and the mining industry. Prior to joining KoBold Metals, he worked for Vale/Inco, largely on greenfield projects in Canada, Scandinavia and Africa. He has also worked in the mines and brownfield exploration in two of the larger Ni-Cu Mining camps of the world, those being Thompson and Sudbury.

This diverse career has given him valuable experience in the various stages and aspects of the mineral exploration business from project generation, to field work to management of projects, having set up and managed exploration projects in several countries. Ian has a strong background and passion for the structural controls and pathways for mineral deposit formation having received his M.Sc. from University of Manitoba with a focus on economic and structural geology, and his B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology and Applied Geology from Glasgow University, Scotland.
