Peter Illig

Peter is a Certified Professional Geologist with experience working in greenfield to brownfield exploration, underground mining, and project development for major and junior companies. Since 2013 he has worked on carbonate hosted copper-gold-zinc-lead and porphyry copper-gold deposits in Alaska, Queensland, and Arizona. Most recently he advanced the exploration and pre-feasibility geometallurgy programs at the Hermosa project in Southern Arizona after acquisition by South32.

Peter received his master’s degree in Economic Geology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and his doctorate in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines.
