Manish Dembla

Manish is a Partner in the Gurgaon office of the Firm. He has about 14 years’ experience in diverse areas of law. His practice areas include projects & energy, dispute resolution, litigation and white collar crime matters.

Over the past few years, the main thrust of his practice has been dispute resolution and litigation pertaining to infrastructure and construction projects including roads & highways, power projects, pipelines, water projects, metro projects, railways, etc. Manish has been involved in complex and high value arbitration (both domestic and international) and litigation in this sector. He is adept at putting forth the clients’ case before arbitral tribunals / courts in the most concise and articulate manner so as to obtain the best possible results.

Manish’s hands-on approach and comprehensive experience in the domain gives him a broader perspective of the issues involved in the assignments taken up by him and makes him a pillar of strength for the Infrastructure practice of the Firm.

He has also been regularly advising and assisting several large multinational & domestic clients across sectors such as oil & gas, real estate, pharmaceuticals, education, aviation, consumer goods, information technology, telecommunication, banking, insurance, etc. on a wide spectrum of matters.

Manish has been recognized as the “Next Generation Lawyer” by Asia-Pacific Legal 500 in 2016 and 2017 for Infrastructure, Projects & Energy and Dispute Resolution. Manish was also a member of the team which received the Best Dispute Resolution Team Award at the India Legal Summit & Awards 2017.
