Gerhard Eschelbeck

Gerhard Eschelbeck has a long and distinguished career in the security and technology space, having held several prominent roles in the industry. In 2022, they joined Kodiak Robotics as Chief Security Officer, CyberFuture as an Alliance Member for CyberFuture, and Acalvio Technologies as a Board Member. In 2020, they joined SVCI - Silicon Valley CISO Investments as a Venture Advisor and Investor, and Aurora as Chief Security Officer. In 2019, they joined the International Olympic Committee - IOC as Digital & Technology Advisor - Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024, and Onapsis Inc. as a Board Member. In 2017, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Member of the Supervisory Board. In 2014, they joined Google as Vice President Security & Privacy Engineering (CISO), and in 2011 they joined Sophos as CTO & SVP.

Gerhard Eschelbeck obtained a MSc in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in 1988-1993, followed by a PhD in Computer Science from the same university in 1993-1996.
