Jake Leister

Jake Leister is a Composite Structures Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently employed at Kodiak Aircraft Company since October 2014. Prior roles include Design Engineer at Textron AirLand, where contributions involved overseeing the design and manufacturing of various composite and metallic components, and Design Engineer at Lee Aerospace, providing support for sheet metal production and composite part manufacturing. Additional experience encompasses a position as Mechanical Design Engineer at Beechcraft, where skills were developed in airframe design and systems performance, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at SEL, gaining insights into part design and heat transfer. Jake Leister holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and an AS in Engineering from Lewis-Clark State College.
