Kiho Song

Associate Principal Scientist at Kodiak

Kiho Song is an experienced professional in protein engineering, currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Kodiak Sciences since July 2020, after progressing through roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist II. Prior to this, Kiho Song was a PhD student at UC Santa Barbara from September 2014 to July 2020, conducting research in the Christopher Hayes Lab on protein secretion mechanisms and chimeric protein engineering. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Research Scientist at Marrone Bio Innovations, where novel assays were developed for compound discovery, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on nematology diagnostics and resistance in tomato variants. Kiho Song holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of California, Davis.
