Colton Cunov's work experience begins in 2016, where they worked as a Logistics Engineering Intern at Walmart. In 2017, they served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. From 2016 to 2017, they were also a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University. In 2018, Colton hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine as a Through Hiker. Later that year, they joined Wipro Limited as a Big Data Site-Reliability Engineer, where they maintained Kafka and Redis platforms and monitored production data builds. In 2019, they became an Independent Researcher for the Complexity Working Group, investigating complex systems methods in wearables time series data. In 2022, Colton worked as an MSc Thesis Intern at Adfenix and then as a Simulation and Optimization Engineer at NEVS. Currently, they are a Solutions Engineer at Kognic, collaborating across teams to build stable integrations and efficient data pipelines and providing technical support for clients.
Colton Cunov obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, completing their studies in 2017. Colton then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Complex Adaptive Systems at Chalmers University of Technology from 2020 to 2022.
