Mengxue Nie

Mengxue Nie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2019, they interned as a Management Trainee at Shanghai Shimao Co., Ltd., assisting with property development projects and providing analysis support to the real estate team. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Project Lead at Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation, managing budgets, conducting environmental research, and overseeing the induction and exit interviews of volunteers. In 2021, they were a Project Manager Intern at BothOfUs, where they assisted senior project managers in product development and promoted sustainability goals. At Northvolt in 2021-2022, they served as a Technical Translator, handling translation tasks between suppliers and operators/engineers, coordinating commissioning work, and assisting process engineers with quality monitoring. Currently, they are a Data Delivery Coordinator at Kognic, managing data delivery and also holds the position of a Delivery Project Manager.

Mengxue Nie completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture at Sichuan University from 2015 to 2020. In 2018, they attended a summer school program at Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd focused on Low-carbon Architecture. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Science in Sustainable Destination Development at Uppsala University from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, Mengxue Nie obtained a Professional Certificate in Google UX Design through Coursera.
