Shweta Shrestha

Shweta Shrestha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of software development and data engineering. Shweta is currently working at KOHO as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in data. Prior to this, they held the position of Intermediate Data Engineer at KOHO as well.

Before joining KOHO, Shweta worked at Deerwalk Inc as a Senior Software Engineer, where they collaborated with the management team, data analysts, engineers, and programmers to develop and integrate database warehousing software and applications. Shweta also worked as a Software Engineer, leading the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) team and implementing US healthcare data using distributed processing techniques. As an Associate Software Engineer and intern at Deerwalk Inc, Shweta focused on developing infrastructure, implementing data cleaning applications, and working with Java, Hadoop, and Amazon Redshift technologies.

Shweta also served as an Independent Android Development Consultant at TeleTalk Pvt Ltd, where they developed applications to support sales tracking and SMS functionalities. Additionally, they worked as an instructor at Deerwalk Institute of Technology, facilitating workshops and classes on Compiler Design and providing guidance to students.

With a strong background in software development and data engineering, Shweta has acquired skills in data modeling, optimization, architecture, and application development.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University (KU) between 2010 and 2014. Shweta's secondary education consists of a High School degree from St. Mary's High School in Lalitpur, Nepal, from 2008 to 2010. Before that, they completed their School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C.) from Brihaspati Vidyasadan in Nepal, specializing in Science, Mathematics, and Accounts, from 2003 to 2008. Shweta has also obtained additional certifications, including "Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4" from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2019 and "Parallel Programming in Java" from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2018.
